Bah humbug - seems pretty hard to find matching discs front and back these days for such an old car from the same manufacturer.

Brembo don't list an ATR front disc (300x28) - parts catalogue here ( https://www.bremboparts.com/europe/en )
Borg and beck don't list a rear prelude 5th gen - parts catalogue here ( https://webcat.borgandbeck.com/Home )
MTEC have both avail - choice of styles, but no plain as far as I can see - could go for slotted only...

Cant seem to find a decent dixcel listing/catalogue , but doesn't look like prelude/accord type R (CH1) are available.

Fitted some MTEC grooved discs to my HR-V
Obviously I'm not looking for performance, and use Blueprint pads, but seems good quality to me.
Recommended, I know another Lude that has MTEC discs.

It was MTEC I was using previously, and had no issue until they cracked at the holes (drilled and grooved), perhaps ill just go for the grooved this time.

I got the discs from Cox motorparts. They arrived in brembo boxes for my accord type r setup so I assumed they were brembo made.
I use brembo 350z discs on my new setup.

Dixcel pads are imported from here. Torque GT do them too.

I found a few listings for CL7 euro type R stuff, but assume these are different to CH1 Accord type r (non euro) - most listings show these as separate setups?

Eitherway, I've gone for a stock set up so I can get the car going again.

MTEC grooved only discs front/rear with silver coating.
set of 4 MTEC hoses.
Genuine Honda OEM ATR pads based on the OEM part number.
Brembo standard rear pads - There seems 2 parts listed for 185bhp vs 200bhp MK5s (p28022 vs p28039), they were cheap so bought both types and will compare thoroughly. I suspect they are interchangeable as many listing show them as the same fitment.

Treated myself to a hand pumped pressure bleed system also, with universal reservoir cap, and another 2 litres of fluid.

If the pedal doesn't firm up after this - then I'll look into the master cylinder replacement (or perhaps ATR swap if possible).

All the pads are the same.

Pad of choice for me are Carbonne Lorraine RC6 pads front with Ebc Redstuff rears using bremtech grooved discs.
