A perfect Prelude

Post by simonc » Fri Oct 23, 2020 8:56 am

Morning all. I hope I'm not doubling up on anything but did any of you guys see this gorgeous Prelude for sale a few months ago? It's absolutely stunning and I fell head over heels in love with it. Talk about care and attention to detail. What I'd have given to have been able to see it in the flesh. From what I gather, KGF Classic Cars has sold it. Whoever bought it is a true connoisseur.
She is a 1996 model and has 52,000 miles on the clock. I seem to remember the seller was asking GBP6500 for it.
There's still a photo album available to lust over on the KGF website which is well worth a visit.
Again, I'm sorry if this is old hat, but if it's new to anyone then please enjoy this lovely machine.

Yeah I did see that for sale. I was tempted I have to say. The only thing I would change is to put the saw blade alloys on.

Morning, @ATR84, good point. The saw blades would really set it off, but I do like those alloys though.
(I have still have a set of perfect saw blades that I'm bundling with Blue Beauty when I ship her over)

Every time I see pictures like this it makes me want another 4th gen. I currently have a 5th and a 3rd. I could have a 4th as well.......but I think the Mrs would start burning them at that point.

Good for you, @ATR84. Two Preludes are great, but three is such a nice sounding number and let's face it, a lovely 4th Gen would complete a trifecta of fabulousness in your garage.
However, I empathise with the, shall we say, 'roadblock' of your good lady. ;)

 That's truly uncanny because when I first saw the photos, I thought exactly the same as you.
