After reading one of the posts on here about fog lights on JDM Ludes I thought I had better check mine. I had noticed that one of the rear reversing lights had been covered to be a fog light but couldn't find a switch.
Meanwhile i have a Half Mast switch that doesnt do anything - or appeared not to. So that got me thinking and what appeared to be the Half Mast switch was actually the fog light switch.
The upshot is that I now know where the fog light switch is but now don't have a half mast switch. Now I do have a replacement switch (bought as I thought the switch was broken) but have no idea how to wire it up, does anyone have a wiring diagram?
Congratulations to vtecmec for winning May/June's Lude Of The Month, with his DIY Turbo BB1 build.

got any pics of the switch and the loom end?
wiring diagrams are in the manual, but are you using a new fog switch or half mast switch?

I'm guessing here.
But probably new wire was ran to the back of the car to fix up what used to be 1 of your reversing lights as a fog
The half mast was probably disconected just to use the switch.
If this IS the case
Simply swapping the half mast switch for the fog switch will sort that problem.
Now what you need to find out is if, the half mast switch was just unplugged or if they snipped it to use the connector for wiring the fog.
If its just been unplugged its just a simple case of re-plugging it into the half mast switch again.
If not, this makes it a bit harder as you will have to source another connector and re-wire it in yourself.
But you will have to re-locate either the fog switch or the half mast switch to a different spare place in the car where there is a switch blank. (hopefully one of the wire looms from either will reach to the new place without have to extend any wires)
Hope that makes sense???
