Long weekend

Post by indigolemon » Wed Jun 06, 2012 1:43 pm

Anyone do anything nice? Half my family decamped to a huge house near Pitlochry for the weekend. Was a pretty nice place:

And, it had a bar! Which I somehow ended up behind ...

Anyone else do anything interesting?

Nice one Ammo

Have to say though, if I never hear that song again it'll be a happy thing. It's used for everything atm!

Had this view though:

And then we went to Keswick Beer Festival:

Note my pic of the beer festival is rubbish and wonky... the effects of too many beers!

Goodwood with my son for Planes, Games and Automobiles.

It was a charity do with a track day, people giving rides in various cars around the circuit, parade laps, static shows of cars and planes and stuff for the kids.

Quite funny watching a new M3 getting spanked by a 10 year old scooby

One of the owners let my boy have a sit and play around in a lamborghini aventador 8-) and he sat in the Marussia Virgin F1 Car - he is only just 4 years old and had to squeeze into the seat. They are unbelievably small :o

Best of all - Free to get in!!

To start with we went to the Hay Festival to see Tim Minchin. Back home for 24 hours for a wedding reception then back to visit family Sunday to today. Haven't stopped since Thursday morning!
