Careless/jobby parkers

Post by Donald » Sat Jun 09, 2012 6:38 pm

Does anyone else have to put up with on street parking/and or dickheads that live near you but are witless drokks?

I do and it pisses me off! I walked home from town today, on my way past my car I see a nice orange scuff on the rear corner where someone has come out of the space and gone into the bumper, but the mark is closer to the number plate recess than the actual corner itself so it's clear that they would've hit it, reversed back and then just drokked off. What's even more annoying is that I parked in the second space from the end, so to get out all they had to do was reverse back a couple of feet anyway and then swing out  kebabs.

Luckily this time a bit of polish and it's like it was never there, but this is the third time since October that something like this has happened, except the other two haven't buffed out.

All done now. ;violin

I hate people like that with a passion!

Used to live next to some, I remember one day I parked in the street before everyone else got home and some one parked 2" from my rear bumper. Then someone else came along and parked touching my front bumper so I couldn't get out :tosser:

He got it done back to him tho then he couldn't get out either

I used to live in a terrace house years ago where we had to park on the street, my car was scuffed twice and the gf's car was once scuffed too. I saw lots of cars scrape other cars and they just drive off! I always noted their reg plate and reported the cnuts! A merc slk was written off on the street by someone hitting the back corner of it.

What pissed me off, was the street had cars parked all the way along on BOTH sides of the street. It was quite narrow, and people used to tank it down the street, I lived there for 6 years and I lost count of the amount of kids that were knocked over, and loads of cats killed :(

Yup, I get it all round my way too. Though people know not to scuff my car, as the last one who did that ended up with one of his windows popped for each scuff on my car. He admitted to doing it too and said he wouldn't pay up as there was no proof he did it. So I just said I'll pop one of your windows then and won't pay up as there's no proof of me doing it, see how you like it when people damage your car. He told me to go ahead, so I did!

Oh Yes - 2 months since I resprayed my car and got rid of all the dents and I have two bloody parking dents already.

My wife's car got a massive dent in the door 6 days after we got it. It had 65 miles on the clock  No one left any details.

I always park in the farthest point of the car park and they seem to park next to me rather than the 100's of empty spaces around me.

A few years ago I went to Tesco's with my dad - he also parks miles away from anywhere. As we got out of the car he said "They are all just leaving home you know" - "Who" I asked - "The 4x4's that are going to park either side of me and dent both my doors" he replied - So So True

At least I can use parent and baby bays a lot now. Someone has to make a real effort to dent your car in those bays.

As for neighbours - I'm gonna pretent I didn't see that before I start shaking with rage/foaming at the mouth................

Thankfully the folks around here are pretty good for parking, in the supermarkets all I can say is thank fook I can use parent and child bays. In the lude had some dopey woman park so close I literally couldn't get int he drivers side door, we're loading shopping in and the woman walks over, see's I can't get in and am struggling to climb across, puts her shopping in the boot and drokks off. If I could have I would have slashed all the tyres and bust all the glass, as it happens after she did that I tried to get in again and the steel rivets on my trousers "accidentally" keyed up the whole side of the car, oh well, jobby happens lol
