ok been looking on bay of e, just seen some lockwood dial faces, it says in the listing that these fit over (onto) the old faces. so does my converted clocks still have the original dials underneath? has any one looked, does anyone know?

Converted how? Do you mean they have been converted from Kmh to Mph, because if so they don't change the dial faces, they just convert the signal sent to the speedo. On mine they just blanked off the K from Km/h. I checked my speed with a GPS speedo and mine is bang on.
