Does any one work for the DVLA? (bit of a Nitin fail)
This an bit of a Nitin Fail (So no hard bashing)
Basically, I have had my License for 4 years now but only just found out that my address is not correct. I live in Flat 4 but it says Flat 9 on the license. Ofcourse, It's my fault as I should have noted them years ago.
I was stopped by the police today as they had a crazy thought I was speeding. Fortunetly, they couldn't prove anything so they let me off but they saw the address on my license is different so they said I could go to Jail..
Need to change it asap so I can drive again because I'm scared they may pull me over and arrest me..
I went on DVLA website to change my address online. But when I put the postcode Flat 9 doesn't come up as they are only 6 flats at my address.
Any suggestions?

Tell them flats 7,8 and 9 are cardboard boxes on the roof!
That will teach you to write sloopy fours that look like nines.
Seriously now ring them and tell them that they keyed the information incorrectly.
I think you get a phone card in prison.

I take something for it.

I asked them to change my V5 a few years back as I had swapped an H23 for an H22. Heres the letter I had to send them
