It's not often that even though you have to add another 3 penalty points to your licence, your insurance renewal drops £50. No company has beaten my renewal price from Sky in 4 years. When your insurance is up, and your not with them already, give them a try. Sky give a discount to LG members:

LO

Good news

I have been with Sky for quite a while but i still think i'm paying more than i should be :(

There are guys on here paying £200 less than me who are 20yrs younger , have a 2.2 instead of a 2.0 and more mods :?

Very confusing and anoying

So i will be ringing around more than usual come renewal time me thinks

Cheers ;)

Yeah im paying £340 mods declared, fully comp, protected no claims, all the bells and whistles. Take it your paying more than that? Adrian Flux came close this year, usually no-one is within £200 of Sky.

Really - that is super cheap?
I've stayed with Sky for the last 4 or 5 yrs. I'm 44 !!!! 10+ yrs no claims - no convictions and I still pay £550 or thereabouts for "full comp". How come yours is so cheap?

I was very happy with the extra cover of the "agreed value" endorsement (which I had to pay an extra premium for) but well worth it. This continued for 3yrs. Last year they would no longer do it  - just as I get my car back on the road after the rebuild!! They say no one else will offer this cover any more unless car is over 25yrs old. So I phoned around but got silly prices from everyone and in the end I had to renew with them because I run out of time.

Seems ridiculous that some old 90's BMW's are now considered classics and cost nothing to insure, but Prelude's ~ not a chance.

If I have even the tiniest of accident, they will write it off no doubt. The settlement will be rubbish. I need to do something about it - is Greenlight reading this?

Did you claim on your black "S"? I'm 31 BTW with 12 years NCB. I found being JDM doesn't help. When looking for quotes for my 4G they were higher.

Just for info :
With Sky, 35, full NCB, no points etc.
All mods declared and paid £400 this year (pretty consistent with the last few years with them).
Extra £114 when I did the engine swap, so £514
