4th gen automatics

Post by nickyboy » Fri Jun 22, 2012 9:11 pm

Christ, there's loads of them when looking for a manual! After driving an auto 5th gen, I don't want one, but I never used semi auto mode. What like are they in 4gs? Sluggish delay when changing? (in semi and auto)

How reliable are they? Cost a bomb to repair?

4thgen ones seem reliable i only know of 2 that have broken, one was due to the owner seeing if he could vtec in reverse and the other was bri who did a h22a8 conversion so not sure if that had something to do with it or the fact the previous owner was a bit of a knob! they go for FA if you need to find a replacment or you could go manual conversion ;)

Hmm. Automatic could be an option. I'll probably dent a hole in the floor where the clutch should be though
