Kit car insurance! I fooookin love it

I'm 23, live in a medium risk area, 6 points for speeding n have a claim from the Kangpoo being crashed into in November. And my car is a 3.5 litre V8 Volvo.

Normal car insurance quote = £5000
Kit car insurance quote = £350


And yes, the Volvo is classed as a kit car as engine and transmission will be changed

Nah cos you fix it yourself. Plus if you bump the front end in a lude, insurance ask Honda what the repair bill will be on parts. You crash a kit car they ask you how much you think it'll be to repair n prove it with receipts

Plus the insurance companies tend to think that if you took the time to build a car you'll actually look after it and won't abuse it.
