National Meet. Nitro/petrol/leccy RC 4x4 challenge.

Post by lewd lude lover » Sat Jun 30, 2012 8:47 pm

So I have been hoping that the entrance to the field behind us would be dry for the meet. Its looking like I should forget about that. Plan accordingly and dont be suprised init.

So we will still be able to have camping on there but no cars.

This does open up other options though

Im thinking if anyone has an off road buggy of some kind maybe I could set up a track and we can get the beer on

I know Aaron and Darryl have a bitching petrol buggy. I have a 1/8 nitro buggy, so if you have a vehicle, and you fancy running it round our corner of a field put your name down.

Tents up the top where its green.

I will be asking the farmer to take the rollers over the ground to flatten it down. The tents will be up the far end and the track would run around the outside of the field. there is a jump and a drop built in and plenty tight, long corners and a nice 60m straight. I reckon it might take 20-25 seconds to go round? thats a guess though.

Now I wish I was able to go even more than before! Could have had an excuse to get the stadium trucks out, mine are leccy, but still good fun :)

Yeah sure I can't make it sadly. I'm down to work the weekend, on nights :(
Seems to happen on EVERY meet too which is quite crap! But of course my work doesn't know the LG schedule

@gayno :D thats the spiwit old boy. I just took the pressure washer to mine. I'm amazed at how good its come up  Im putting some firmer shocks on the front right now.

@bucks: Im not sure if its the big 1/5 scale. maybe 1/8 or 1/6. Its bloody fast and has petrol power. much more stable than bloody nitro. I normally get about 3/4 of a tank through and it throws a fit and wont start for a while. I think maybe i should richen it up a bit.
