114k 4ws 1998. What kind of money us there in it ? I hate going through the hassle of selling and I've broken hondas in the past but never a lude. Do parts sell well and would I get more or less than current value selling it ?

If the car's a runner, don't kill it for profit!!

Why not if its worth more and less hassle ?
I don't understand when people say this ! Ok if its something rare or expensive but lets be honest a prelude is neither.

I imagine your 4G having half the mileage and 15bhp more as standard probably accounted for some of that

The thing that brings us all together on this forum is the love of Preludes.
They may not be expensive, but they are becoming increasingly rare.
To kill one just for profit annoys me. Fine if it's falling apart and is beyond help.
Do you understand now?

This.
Pisses me off when people break perfectly good Preludes. Unless its rotten or drokked, sell the car whole.

I understand you like your car, I also think its a good car although not practical for my needs at the moment. However I don't understand how you think there getting rare. I'm pretty sure I could go out and buy another 20 right now. Although mine is in good condition its certainly not mint and there are things that need work. If I was to put it up for sale I would want about 750 for it but I know people would try and haggle me down, especially as large engine low mpg cars rant in vogue at the moment.
So you all think I should lose money out of my own pocket so someone else can benefit ?

How easy is it to remove the skirts? I may do that when looking at cars for sale. If seller shites it and says no, i'll walk away.

You have to consider some people might not want you taking their car to bits on the driveway as well...
