Honda wont make VTEC motors anymore because every time 1 fails an mot on emissions Honda get finned £30?

Sounds like a load of crap to me. That would mean I could buy a VTEC Honda, feck about with the engine, and get Honda fined for me being a numpty? Unlikely I think ...

If that was the case, knowing Honda, all they'd do is hike up the price £1500 to simply cover themselves for 50 years worth of emissions failures
