Looking back over the years and what they make now its mediocre apart from the Prelude Vtec(and other models with that engine) and the concept of 4ws.
All they sell now is mass market nodescript vehicles.
OK the reliabilty of their engines is good I will give you that but that is about all.
NSX was just a cheap knock off Ferrari the new hybred how much is it?
S2000 looks dull and can be murdered by a Scooby or Mitsi saloon.
Are you with me or against me?

(BTW its not because I was quoted £4000 to fix my bodywork issues it looks like I can get it done for £1300 including welding in new metal. I love that car but its the only Honda I do!)

Agreed, but I dislike most new cars. Although I would own a DC5 Integra, only one of 3 Honda's I would gladly drive (Prelude, 3.2 NSX, DC5). Yes I also own a 2007 1.8 VTEC Civic but I'd rather have that than other more boring alternatives.
As it stands right now I wouldnt even look at buying a new Honda.

NSX is a fantastic car, i'd love one. Looks amazing, usual Honda reliability, and meant to be one of the best handling cars ever, with input by the man himself, Ayrton Senna.
As for today's cars, well most of them are of no interest to me, except the Mugen CRX

The world has changed.
Look at all of the main Japanese manufacturers in the late 80's to late 90's, and there's a huge list of stuff, the like of which we'll never see again.
Honda
Prelude
Integra
Civic*
NSX
CRX
S2000
Mitsubishi
3000GT/GTO
FTO
Galant VR-4
Lancer Evolution*
Eclipse
Toyota
Supra
Celica
MR-2
Soarer
Nissan
200SX
300ZX
Skyline
Subaru
Impreza*
Legacy*
SVX
Mazda
MX-5*
RX-7
RX-8
(the * ones are the real exceptions, as they're now still just about being made)
These types of cars are no longer "in vogue", we've had the golden era of high performance cars from these manufacturers, and even more modern high performance cars are available from other manufacturers, whilst probably quicker, are built to a cost now, and are so full of electronics that your normal enthusiast can't really tinker much with them.

Perhaps a tad harsh on the S2000. Stack it against a 350Z (a much better comparison) and it does well.
Too true, Confused! I suppose the exact same thing happened at Toyota with the MR2 and Celica, once decent cars that eventually got all shreds of desirability ripped from them, untill they died

Oops, aye the CRZ. They should've kept the name.

I hate alot of new cars. Most of them look the same as each other, severe lack of imagination from the manufacturers. Or are they playing safe, and being sheep following other good selling cars style? Either way its all bum droppings
Hyundai i30:
Looks the same as a focus:
The 'new' pug 208:
Looks the same as a Corsa:

I'm going to firstly apologise in advance to anyone who owns a modern car. However, after test driving a few new hatchbacks the impression I get is that most modern cars (turn of the millennium onwards as I think of it) are souless, hateful machines that just exist to sell to the indifferent masses. There may be some gems hiding out there, but comparing new cars to 90's and even 80's models, the new cars are just pale in comparison. Who's drokking idea was electric pedal boxes and full power steering? Feels so limp with no feedback whatsoever. For example I've driven a 92 Clio before and have driven my mum's 07 Clio quite a bit. I'd happily throw the older one into a corner knowing full well where 'the edge' was, in the new car you just don't get that same direct feedback - it feels numb. They even look worse, most cars are ugly bloated things these days... Lines and angles are not a bad thing!!! Nor is being different from the rest of the crowd!! If I chipped in all 3 of my older cars I could probably get something newer so I wouldn't say I'm hating because prices exclude me - I could even go get finance if I was that desperate for something brand new. I just don't think there are any cars these days that will give me the enjoyable driving experience a well built older car will. 90's FTW

sorry if this is poorly structured btw, I'm mainly just sad and angry because I really do think the golden age of the car has come and gone and so I'm ranting
