Some reasons why we're in this financial mess?

Ignore the headline in YouTube and listen to what the senator is saying. I agree with every word. This isn't just happening in America but here in the UK too. :(

I'm glad there are people like him in the world, brave enough to speak the truth to those who most likely don't want to hear it, but have some power to do something about it.

I hope his words can start something that could benefit the majority. Wage slavery isn't inspiring our children to work hard anymore, and who can blame them. Money has been a great tool to get people working together towards a common goal and incredible things have been achieved that could never have happened without it. But times have changed and money is causing many people more problems that perhaps it is worth.

Sadly there are very few politicians who care about anything than their own ends

read ''confessions of an economic hit man''

this is the expose of how USA conducted world domination through the world bank and enginerring projects around the world in the 50's-60's. its so ingrained now that they dont need specific motivators, its whole sale corporate armageddon.

Yes it is a good expose of the world bank and IMF etc. We've moved on from this sort of covert take over, now we hit countries with economic sanctions, send in the air force to stonk them back to the stone age and then send in the troops. Once thats done it like taking candy off a baby when it comes to their resources etc

only if the corporate/economic guys fail to yoke them to the chain. saddam being a prime example. he wouldnt fall into line so was removed. the syria guy Al-assad plays the US's games so he is allowed to stay in power. as soon as he doesnt he will be out.

war is the last resort but a happy one from their point of view imo.

bullets go off after all  ;)

@alex: it really hasn't always been the way. it is only this current attempt at civilisation that is failing in this way. In most major civilisations for...ever.., when public debt got too high, to a point where it damages the whole, the king, leader, head of state would wipe the books clean and start again.

with a capitalistic approach this failsafe is removed. thus our current 'oneway' civilisation is doomed to fail.
