Well Done Southern...

Needed to get to work 30 minutes earlier today so I could get back home in time for puppy class, and was working in Brighton so it's train rather than car for the commute. As it was before the off peak rate kicked in I had to pay £7.50 rather than the usual £4.50, so off to a bad start already. Train was then overcrowded. Excellent  get to Lewes where I had to change train, then find out my connection has been cancelled   so end up getting on the next train, which is my usual train anyway. I could've stayed in bed and spent 3 quid less and still got to work at the same time as I did  well done Southern, once again my day made much more stressful by riding the train :x and yet there are still people who expect us to hang up our car keys in favour of public 'transport' It's all a load of over priced over crowded unreliable bollocks.

Rant over

That's why I'm glad I don't get a train to work, I do get to park on the M25 regularly though which is probably as bad

If I work from the Brighton office I save money on travelling, I can spend this money on making my car's more awesome  well worth riding the train 2 days a week
