Hi all, well I finally decided it was time to sell the Prelude and get an ATR, so I sold the car last week and began my hunt this weekend for a nice ATR.
Luckily for me the 1st one I came across was about a mile drive from my house, the guy selling it used to also be a member PUK and had a BB8 here's the advert off Accordr.org

http://www.accordr.org/index.php?/topic ... 00k-miles/

From looking at the advert I knew it was a car that had been looked after and upon first viewing knew I wanted it. I was abit put off by the fact its no air con but I can live without it :(

I've only taken it out for a few blasts up to now but so far very impressed. The VTEC change over is so loud compared to my old Prelude, luckily he had the old airbox with panel filter so might have to swap it back over.
The car is in excellent condition throughout and has had alot of work done such as 5th gear synchro, new clutch, belts etc so
The paint is lovely, it has a very purple tinge to it which looks great.

Well all I need to do now is clock up some miles and enjoy it.

Ahhh, d_a_n1979's car. I saw it for sale on MCR-VTEC.

I nearly bought one (upto the point of nearly handing over the cash), but, I do a lot of motorway miles and thought the road/engine noise would grate over time

I'm sure it's a good 'un, he does look after his cars 8-)

Yeah that's the fella seemed a top genuine guy.

I find the engine noise is louder but the road noise is definately quieter than the Prelude.
It just seems so solid and well screwed together inside too, and the recaro's are very comfy.

Can't argue with that, and I've got the joys of the Type-S' seats ;)

Hi not really, I was hoping for more for the lude but cost me £600 extra so happy really.

I still can't believe how loud VTEC is, I think I'll change it back to the original air box with panel filter. So if anyone is interested in the wrapped intake let me know.

Thanks
