Laptop Battery Retailers?

My laptop (HP 6735s) battery has had it. Hold zero charge now.

I've been looking at a replacement and they range from £12.50 to £40+.

It's been like it for ages, so I'm not fussed enough to spend 40 odd notes on a genuine battery, but don't mind spending £15/£20.

There are hundreds of different sellers on eBay and the web, some I'm sure are probably pretty naff and will probably hold little charge and die in a few months.

So does anyone know of a trusted retailer or seller that sells reasonable quality replacement batteries? Doesn't have to be genuine HP, but a reasonable alternative if possible.

Cheers.

I'd look on ebay for a seller promising a warranty of 12 months. Usually they have the better kit.

Check feedback on the sellers, and check how the warranty works. Then go for it! I buy all my Thinkpad batteries on the bay 8-)

www.chilternitparts.co.uk genuing HP goods, used to work for them and the boxes come direct from HP to the warehouse and then shipped to the customer, next day delivery and easy to sort out should HP have sent a duff part. Maybe not the cheapest place in the world but nice to deal with and you can call someone and actually talk to them too hehe

HP Prices dude, they make stuff all on HP new parts, they are an authorized HP reseller, one of only 3-4 in europe. Cheaper stuff is available and some of it is very good, they do the full HP return to base warranty stuff though, so if it busts within however long HP state you can just deal direct with them. Worth keeping in mind if stuff like the screen inverter board cooks itself etc ;)
