big decision though considering running costs but like the lude will only be a weekend/evening car.
And just under 20,000 miles :o

The ad says: "Please bear in my that this vehicle has a speed limiter fitted for use in Japan...therefore this car has NEVER been 'Thrashed to an Inch of its Life'." Isn't a speed limiter just that - a speed limiter? That is, it doesn't stop you bouncing off the red line whenever you want.

It's not too far from you, though, and well worth a look. I'll reserve my envy for when you tell us you did get it in the end.

Looks like a very clean unmolested car but we'll see.

BUY IT BUY IT BUY IT BUY IT!

You won't regret it if you're keeping the 'lude too, the Stagea is almost a Skyline and it's a lot of fun for boosty times, make sure the boost reads correctly and rear arch/sil rust, make sure you test it and get over 15 degrees of steering at something like 40-60mph and make sure you can feel the 4ws if it has it. Listen carefully for noisey pumps too and the engines can sound a bit tappety at the top but bottom end noise is not good, the oil can also give clues to engine condition and look for smoke when coming on boost, a little puff like VTEC smoke is ok but more could indicate shot turbo(s).

Think that covers the what to look out for bit :)
