Obviously fingers crossed she passes first time and tonight I will do a couple last minute checks on stuff like fluids for the washer etc.
I'll have to put the battery hold down back on as I took it off to clean up, and I am aware all cables for the sub etc should be secure.
One question however I have surrounds the new warning light rules.
The guidelines seem to say that if the warning light is suck on its a problem, now what if there is no warning light for say.. ABS?
Will it pass because there is no light on, or fail because the status of the light could not be checked?
I removed mine so I could do the 4WS reset and didn't get round to swapping it back into the ABS position.
Thoughts?

i think the rule changes are on hold with regards to lights as it was going to be too difficult to enforce, atleast thats what my local mot tester has told me recently.

continuous flow hydraulic braking systems.
2. Regulations only require that an antilock warning light is fitted, it may be
fitted on the drawing vehicle in the
case of a semi-trailer. All EBS
equipped vehicles only need to cycle
the system modulators at least once
on energisation (ignition on) to signal
correct ABS operation and there is no
need for the vehicle ABS warning lamp
to illuminate at all except in the case of
system failure
3. The anti-lock light operating sequences
are complex. If Examiners are in
doubt about the existence of a defect
and the sequence plate is missing,
then providing the warning light is
operating, the issue of an Inspection
Notice is the appropriate course of action.
4. All ABS and EBS equipped vehicles
and trailers approved to UN or EU
requirements must display a warning
light to indicate to the driver the
existence of a fault in the system. This
light is required to illuminate when the
system is energised and will extinguish
on satisfactory completion of the static
test. Some illuminate very briefly and
may be missed, particularly in bright
lighting conditions. It may be
necessary to wait as much as 30
seconds before re-testing to allow the
system to re-set.
