prelude as a track car

I am thinking of using my prelude as a dedicated track car and i know a few people on here have track preludes

What made you decide on a prelude ? Civics are lighter with more aftermarket support and a better second hand parts market. Would i be better of going for a civic or sinking money into the prelude ?

Civics are slow torqueless pieces of crap!

Seriously, I drove a b18 ek9 and was utterly unimpressed for a car that cost 10 -15 x what mine cost me!

Preludes are cheap start of fairly standard, if you stack it then so what? What's it going to cost you compared to a civic or itr?

Definitely cheap & cheerful track fun.

Even our stock powered UK lude is cracking fun on track.

The H22 has that bit more mid-range urge compared to the smaller engines too.

As a dedicated track car you can get serious with weight-loss & easily lose 100kgs out of it.

Cheap and good handling. The lude doesn't understeer like a Civic does.
