whats surprising you about that the amount of fake stuff floating around the internet its a surprise it hasnt come to light sooner

i sold a car once to jemma massey (model fame ) she had fake airbags as well OO ..

Counterfeit automotive & especially aeronautical components are now a viable alternative to the drugs trade due to the huge costs involved.
There are now many measures in place to attempt to avoid such items finding there way onto cars & aeroplanes, but scary when you here of it.
Especially when the fake items are safety related
