Honda havn't scrapped the Type R Civic just yet

Following previous news of the Type R brand being scrapped with further (bull$hit) green regulations coming into play...Honda are cracking on with it:

I'll be interested to see what the Estate looks like too.

I bet. I wonder if the Type-R is the rumored 1.6 turbo?

If you look in the second post I made with Honda's new online magazine they had a display Civic Type R on their stand. 2015 is a while off, so it may be tweaked slightly, but it looks good in the pics. I spot a little touch of carbon fibre on the rear diffuser. That'll be black plastic by the time it get's to production!

I'm sure you will find that by 2016 all sub 50k cars will be small turbocharged engines.

Built in Swindon though
Having driven various models from both Swindon and Japan-the UK built Hondas do miss that little bit of quality IMO
