It's 4.8% ABV now instead of 5.2% ABV

Al lot of alcoholic drinks are, aftershock has gone down to 35% from 40%.
A load of beer company's joined the portman group. And they see it as a form of self regulation to keep the government happy.

Price down means more money for more alcohol meanng more alcohol meaning less percentage but more alhocol in the end.

It's not as bad as you think. And it has nothing to do with minimum unit pricing. This has been happening for a few years now.
And the comment about paying x amount for the bottle in a shop and paying y amount in the pub, this is because you have to pay for the overheads, pay for the experience of being there. Remember the pub pays x amount for the bottle just like you do.
