far cry 3 on uuber settings

at the minute i can run stuff like battlefield 3 on max but it sort of struggles to get over 30fps on black ops 2 even though the game looks like bum droppings

The HD6800 is a decent card. You must be well into your gaming to need to upgrade that?
I have always been a fan of nvidia cards, so would suggest a maybe a geforce gtx660. Not sure how much better it would be though. It might be you have to spend quite a bit to get a worthwhile improvement.

i wouldnt say im well into my gaming but, it annoys the FRICK out of me if i have to turn any graphics settings down on games, i dont know why but it does  so i just want something thats gonna let me play any game on max settings :geek:

the rest of my pc is up to spec and the graphics card is the only really weak part i guess i can upgrade

I'm EXACTLY the same!

Anyhow, if your looking at putting that beastie in your machine you might wana look at the specs of the rest of your machine too. A chain is only as strong as the weakest link; A computer is only as fast as it's slowest part.

Buy a console then retire yourself to the fact that you'll only ever get 720p and 60fps max if you're lucky  wont have to worry about buying cards or fiddling with settings.
