Being as I'm a bit of a

I've complied the results from the 'Average Age' thread;
4g Owners;
34 people responded
Average age - 33.1 yrs
Youngest - 20 yrs
Oldest - 51 yrs
20 to 24 - 17.65%
25 to 29 - 14.71%
30 to 34 - 29.41%
35 to 39 - 14.71%
40 to 44 - 8.82%
45 to 49 - 11.76%
50+ - 2.94%
5g Owners;
21 people responded
Average age - 33.6 yrs
Youngest - 23 yrs
Oldest - 50 yrs
20 to 24 - 9.52%
25 to 29 - 33.34%
30 to 34 - 23.81%
35 to 39 - 4.76%
40 to 44 - 4.76%
45 to 49 - 19.05%
50+ - 4.76%
So, the biggest group of 4g owners is 30-34 with the biggest group of 5g owners being 25-29. Guess the 5g isn't so much of a granddad car

Now there's empirical evidence, it's impossible to refute!
Why dontcha all just f-f-fade away,
An' don't try an' dig what we all say.
I ain't tryna cause no big sensation,
jus' talkin' 'bout my g-generation...

I don't know what you mean phil
I've put all the numbers up there to see, if I was out to mislead I would have done all the sums and just spouted out a number to say 5g owners were younger.
As with all data, it's down to the reader what conclusion they draw from it. Mine was that the largest group of 5g owners were younger than the largest group of 4g owner. If you look at %age under 30, that would be an accurate age related stat and there are a higher %age of 5g drivers under 30 than 4g drivers...
To me, average is a blunt instrument as it gives a single value to represent a more complex scenario.
