Opened my Golf up to turn her over today. Good news is she still starts up under her own power. Bad news is there's mould growing in the interior :o  what is this stuff?!

I didn't touch it cos I thought it was really gross :( how can I kill it and stop it coming back?? Is my interior going to be fubar now??

jobby, he's on to me :scaredtoss:

Cheers guys, I'll go at it with a weak bleach solution and soap. I just hate mould, I imagine all the spores going inside my lungs and eating me from the inside out :?

if you are gonna store a car for any time go to pets at home and buy a couple of bags of the silica gel cat litter. its the stuff they put into the boxes of electrical items you buy but in massive bags.

works a treat to draw any moisture out of the fabrics and air generally ;)

Wash your hands more

Do as LLL suggested and wipe down the hard surfaces with alcohol wipes.

+1

In the cars I run every day I put the little bags of silica gel you get with electrical equipment into the boot, glovebox door cards etc, it just helps draw any moisture out of the air.
