why oh why do insurance co.s not class a 20 yr old honda as classic (apart from nsx)
when an xr3 is
have you seen the price of an escort xr or rs turbo ?????
the lude drives better handles better more reliable faster etc etc etc my old gen 2 gsi 2.0 16 still did not qualify and that was a 1987 car .. someone on here or the other site had it . but an old ish ford or vaux does

I've got both my '89 Accord and '95 Prelude insured under "Classic policies". The Prelude even has an agreed payout if written off. Only down side is you don't accumilate NCB each year, but the prices are that cheap anyway it doesn't really make any odds.

Check out Lancaster Insurance ;-)

It's down to risk profiles; An S2000 costs approximately twice as much as an NSX to ensure, like-for-like!

NSXs are mostly garage queens too.

'Ludes aren't.
