Sorry to hear that man. It's always the case, you can be the safest driver in the world and some other muppet can still cause you to have an accident :(

Good, the only thing letting your car down in my opinion was your wheels ;-)

I left him loads of room as he kept using his brakes but he saw a hill coming and slammed on. I used my gears as brakes and she just slid left and banged into the kerb.

This is one of the main reasons i dont drive. When at work and it snows, i get a lift in. Too many half ass's around that cause silly things like this..

I do feel sorry for you though lad. Especially with all the upcoming things too!

Sorry to hear it bud. I must have left about 15 car lengths between myself and the car in front of me on the way home earlier. There was a huge queue behind me, felt like a bit of a kebab, but by the sounds of things, the car in front could well have been the same idiot in front of you, wasn't taking any risks. I'm with Indigo and LewisH...too many incompetent drivers on the road :(

What tyres have u got on?

Look on the bright side tho you could be looking at a moofed bumper, an insurance claim and 5 years of saying you've had an accident every time u renew. U did the right thing and it could have been much worse.
