Duel camera in car recorder. Getting for nurburg.

Post by lewd lude lover » Thu Jan 24, 2013 10:24 am

Hows about this then? Those little devils over in china have come up with what I think is a very nice little package for all you in car recording needs.

Cool item

I have seen a few duel camera setups but not one as versatile as this. I cant wait to experiment with the screen in screen shots. Nice shot of the road and some fancy heel/toe work, or a tarmac view inside a dash view? The possibilities are huge. with 32gb storage and a possible 10 hours recording you could easily record your whole road trip

It also acts as motion detector recorder for when parked and has a G meter to safe save the images just before and just after a crash.

I wonder though. I know that these items generally get updates in firmware etc but how would you tell the newest release from the older ones?

yeah found it. this is in the uk though so probably older models and older chipsets. do the 40£ ones support 10 hour record?

i wonder what they would accept on an offer

found the same exact setup for 40£. I was not so worried about the price to be honest though. nore the usability of the unit itself.

does anyone know how to find out which is the newest chipset? like those little keyfob cameras had about 15 different issues and it depended which you bought as to how good the recording turned out.

I am seeing some of these have 24fps and some have 30fps so this is an obvious quality difference.

^^^decent little package but you are restricted to front/back view only. no skilled footwork shots or having the 2nd camera 3 inches above the tarmac. Its the versatile nature of the second cam being remote i like the most about this item.
