Drove my Uncle to see a car for sale today at a dealer in Hemel Hempstead.

Owner had to go and pick up a car so we had an hour to go and get a Tea and some grub so drove a couple of miles further down the road to a cafe.

The road was the A4146 heading north west away from Hemel , just drove past the Red lion pub and across a very dodgy one way bridge , then approx a mile or so on we came accoss prob the worst nonstop line of deep potholes none to man , i'm talking 20 plus with no chance to miss them , lucky i was doing 50 , i would have hated to have hit them doing 70

I will never drive down that road again , you can bet on that

Luckily i don't appear to have caused any lasting damage to my tyres or alloys

Potholes everywhere at the moment after all this snow, theres a patch on my way to work with around 16 potholes grouped together across your side of the road....you can't avoid them.

Is that bridge the S bend one Toadster? You turn right, go over it then turn left, and it's only wide enough for one car?
If so I know exactly where you mean.......TBH as soon as I saw the thread title I might have known it would be in my county somewhere

Try driving in East Sussex

I'm at the point now where I'm just hoping the remaining tatters of the roads disintegrate and we're left to drive on mud

Until then I'll spend all my time looking like I'm driving pissed as I'm weaving around so much... Honestly officer, I'm just avoiding potholes!

my brother got so pissed off with pot holes that he used to spray on the road with florescent paint FIX with an arrow pointing to it. he also sprays dog poo in the park when he is out walking the dog.

...where the other side of the Arrow (thats pointed at the dog poo) is a long trailing line that leads to the doorstep of the offender!!
