Anyone had one before?
It reads as if it could be a RWD 4 door prelude

A friend of a friend has 1 of these. Its yellow with the factory fitted kit and high rise spoiler etc. Goes sideways for fun.
My best mate has the normal uk is200 and its a very well built car. Those are a bargain buy at the moment, but the RS200 seems to command quite a premium.

I had an IS200, was nothing special to be honest. It wasn't fast and was bum droppings on fuel.

I'd be after the RS200 TBH. Spec seems pretty good, don't think I could go from 228bhp to 153bhp.
I know if I get the 153bhp I'd end up spending money on it to make it go faster, but I'm much less likely too if it's already top spec

What he said, was awful on fuel and not overly fast for it.

I considered one at one point, but was put off by the shocking mpg and lack of power
The Beams engine would be better but it's finding one
Advantage of RWD though you could drop in another engine from say a Soarer or Supra and get 500bhp out of it
That's running a 2jz from a Mk4 Supra (And now is Japspeeds new car)

Sweet!
I'd of thought the mpg with the beams engine would be comparable to the h22 lude. Similar power & cr plus curb wight is about the same. I don't see much past 23mpg most of the time in mine

My mate had one of these.
Same as others have said, the fuel economy was shocking. He also said it gave him a bad back

Always liked the look of the original GS300 sport, in black, lowered, gunmetal alloys. Can't find one in that spec now, but this model (these standard alloys look great on it too)

how can that ever be comparable to a lude

lexus are quite heavy cars because they trade as luxury so will have tons of sound deadening.

My friend who had the S2k for sale a little while ago had one before his S2k, Was a good car (his had been turbo'd) but it was very very juicy.
