Does anyone know if you can have BBQ's at JF?

Was thinking we could do something like we did with the national meet at LLL's...

Point 34 of the T's & C's:

34. The following are not allowed on the Event Site at any time: Animals; glass/bottles; bonfires; barbeques; mini motos, scooters or quads

I'm guessing as part of health and safety around fire.

With events like this, I'm more for sticking to the rules and not risking getting the club banned from future events than risking it because someone says "I do it and it's never been a problem"

That's a bit bum droppings that you can't take a BBQ, sounds like a con to make you pay rip off prices from the food vendors there.

Again I feel it's worth mentioning, its a one day event, a very well set up one day event. You get there and you leave within about 7 hours.

There are burger/bacon/pizza/potato/chip stalls everywhere. Every one of them will sell you a cup of tea or hot water if you have your own bags.

Why the need to even consider cooking raw food or heating water? :? I'm not having a go, I just dont understand. Surely the time could be better spent than huddled over a gas burner or coaxing a bbq into life?

I was just thinking it would be a good excuse for us lude owners to get together and have a good chin wag. What better way to bond than with meat & fire?

Anyhow, will just have to wait for the nation meet instead :D
