Without wanting to sound like an inverted snob I drive past the new housing development down the road and everything parked outside the garages that they literally can't fit into is (1) very large (2) brand or nearly new and (3) usually wearing a premium badge. I need to remind myself that people like me and on forums like this are the odd ones out when it comes to what we want from a car.
I agree, Tim. It's the same down my road, endless new or new-ish hulks that have an air of The Stepford Wives about them. It seems as though conformity is the only option. Bit like at the office, as the young-uns do like my car and my passion for it but deep down, I do feel that they think I'm a bit of a crank for not wanting something 2024 in the car park.

Goodness knows what they would have made of our Prelude.
They'd have dismissed it as a relic, Sailor.
Ha! They probably wouldn't have known what it was.

I was at a Honda dealer last year and there was nothing but overpriced boring cars. I was shaking my head at a CRV because they wanted £45K for it, £45K!!!

We got rid of our trusty 1.8 2007 civic a few years ago, it was a great car apart from all the plastic, but I don't think I would buy a new one.

Lo :D
A couple of year's ago I was visiting a Honda dealership in Norwich and one of the older salesmen looked at My Lude and said that's when Honda has decent build quality ;)
Probably not something that should be said in earshot of any new customers
Cheers all ;)

This is what we all want again.

https://www.mugen-power.com/common/engl ... ml#prelude

Love the green 4th Gen.

The grill on the 5th Gen is cool.

Looking at the whole list, cracking cars, cracking engines, cracking styles.

Will Honda return to these glory days?

Apart from the CTR currently, is there anything to excite?

Well, Jan's just bought a Fireblade ....

... so there's a bit of fun left in Soichiro's legacy.
