Hey Guys,

I am looking for someone who knows cars well. If they knew BMW's that would be better, Modified BMW's even more so.

I need them to give the prospect a good poke all over. Jack it up and look into everything, take it for a test drive, thrash the tits off it and give me an honest report. Is it worth the cash? Is there anything thats going to need money that they can see? How well have the mods been done?

I am not expecting a warrenty... I would just prefer to pay someone good money and come back empty handed rather than buy a lemon because I dont know what I am looking at.

they can live anywhere between gloucester, warrington and holyhead as that is the route I need to take to get to dublin to look at the car.

I have cash money and will pay upfront regardless of their report. All I need is someone who is truly competent and knows what they are looking at.

Please PM me any personal contact details or post up any ideas for people you might have.

Many thanks.

one thing to listen out for on cold start up is the hydraulic tappets, they tend to knock quite violently if the oil pressure is low.

Cheers sam, I'm really hoping i can pay someone who knows all these things so I dont have a list.

The fact its in ireland and the ferry is bloody expensive is cutting into my karma right now but we shall see.

Have you priced up the ferry? When I went last year, the ferry cost more than a week at the holiday park!

You'll have return journey on one car plus a single on the Beemer.

The North Wales drive is awesome though.
