Hihi!

Is there many boosted 5th gens around?

When i say boosted, i mean fully forged bottom end boosted 5ths?

Cool. So im guessing, there arent many over here? Ive seen a couple that are low PSI boost on stock internals.

Yeah I've seen some crazy yank iron claiming upwards of 600bhp!! There maybe still one on YouTube being "toasted" at those sort of bhp apart from price and actual reliability issues I'd be interested to know what the torque steer would be like...

But yes in answer to your question cars like that that do exist .

Im looking into it my self. Sleeved bottom end, mahle low comp pistons on eagle rods, standard A5 head (just get the head and inlet matched) but unsure of what size turbo.

Simons has Mahle Gold Series pistons from memory?

Not sure what else was done to it?

I know it will need sleeving, mahle gold pistons and eagle rods. headwork is minimal, not sure what size turbo to go for though or injectors!

If you want the ATR manifold (single runner) for your boost set up I have it for sale. :twisted:

Yeah that is spot on Iain :D I do have the Mahle Gold low comp turbo pistons.

My engine is a stock FRM block that was overbore by 0.25 and then built up with eagle rods, on a standard crank, cometic head gasket and ARP head bolts.

I'm still running standard intake and throttle body at the moment, and I still make fairly descent power (316bhp and 255ft/lb)

eagle rods and mahle gold pistons ? Im looking at the same rods and pistons, same overbore, and the re-sleeving of the block. Standard head on ATR inlet (port matched) but unsure of the turbo / injectors to use!

if you can send me in the right direction SiR Si i would be very appreciative.
