My Japfest Preparation

I've got the week off work prior to Japfest and I won't be relaxing much. Here's what I plan to do:

Day 1:
  • Bilt Hamber Deox Gel under the boot area (coat 1)
    Steering wheel black leather dye
Day 2:
  • Bilt Hamber Deox Gel under the boot area (coat 2)
Fresh coat of paint on brake calipers & discs
Spray silicone lubricant spray on boots / gators / bushes
Wash & wax wheels inside & out
Fresh coat of paint on exhaust silencer rear face
Day 3:
  • Bilt Hamber Dynax-UB under the boot area (coat 1)
    Clean engine bay
    Tap out air filter
    Grease hinges (bonnet & doors)
Fresh coat of paint on EGR control solenoid bracket
Day 4:
  • Bilt Hamber Dynax-UB under the boot area (coat 2)
    Vacuum interior
Leather polish (shoe polish) on steering wheel
    Interior polish wipes
    Clean inside windows
    Polish door sills (metal polish)
Rub down exterior rubber window seals and rubber roof strips (metal polish)
    Polish headlight lenses (metal polish)
    Clean floor mats
Day 5:
  • Wax inside boot floor (cheap spray wax)
    Wash & wax bodywork
    Polish exhaust tailpipes
    Windscreen rain repellent treatment
And finally, top up tyre pressures when at the petrol station after leaving for the long journey.

Question for @RattyMcClelland, do you recommend multiple coats of Bilt Hamber Deox Gel? Would one be enough if I left it on for a few days?

Remove as much rust as possible with sand paper 1st.
The Deox gel, just slap it on and then put cling film over it and then tape the clingfilm to the car so its boxed in.
Leave it. In this climate now Ambient temp at 20degrees it will work fast.
After several hours take the cling film off and wipe away the now brown and 4th gen rusty gel. Clean it and go at it again iff needed.
Pitted area i use hydrate 80.

My preparation is well....
- Respray the whole car
- 5 days later wet sand the clearcoat and polish to a mirror finish
- Hytech and Mugen fitted
- And other stuff if i have time.

I found 2 attempts at deox to be more than enough on the passenger floor when i had minor surface rust.

Thanks, going by what you say, I'll just give it two coats of Deox Gel. I've updated my original post.
