Am I being optimistic here?
Honda and McLaren?
Am I wrong to hope that Honda might be making a change in direction,
might just start to make some great sports cars again in 3 or 4 years....?

When designing the McLaren F1, Gordon Murray originally approached Honda to build it, but they kept refusing despite repeated requests.
They ended up having to put a wanky German lump in there.

Am I the only one who only just heard of the rumoured new S2000? Hybrid...mid-engine...350bhp....maybe?
And the rather stunning "take one of my children" S660? Awesome looks, maybe 1l turbo?
S660..... new Civic Type R..... S2000 .....NSX....
I'd say if these babies are as good as they look then Honda performance cars are back
Ps. Zombie thread

There's a new Jazz turbo out too, 1.5 litre lump putting out 200PS or so
Honda pulled money out of R&D during the recession, looks like they're starting to get back on track again as there seem to be a lot of cool cars coming out the woodwork now. I remember at the Honda institute they said that Honda were unfortunately a couple of years behind, but they've definitely upped their game lately.

I like the Jazz as much as the next person, but when a stock Jazz comes out that can kick our 'Ludes asses, I might have to reassess...
