Insure the box

Noticed a car from this company doing some work on the new Ka on the house opposite.
Hadn't heard of them before so googled to see what it was about.

One of those driving tracker things for insurance then. I wonder what useful info they can give insurers really? Location, speed, time of driving... That's about it?
I guess they could tie location/speed in with the speed limit in that area, but that doesn't tell you if they're driving sensibly. Doesn't tell you if they're cutting people up left-right-and-centre, bothering to indicate, observing traffic signals, or even if the speed they're doing is appropriate? (i.e. doing 50mph in a national speed limit road is well within the limit but might actually be completely inappropriate/unsafe?)
