Very poorly 'Lude

Well, took TC - my pride & joy to have the head gasket replaced this morning..
Helluva lot of smoke coming out the back driving to the garage which wasn't happening before today, and a rather odd tickover.. Rising & falling between 1500 & 2000 rpm
Now on tender-hooks waiting & hoping it's just the HG and nothing more serious..

Thanks for the comments chaps, just heard back from the garage - my car is officially dead. Engine siezed
I guess that's that then!

'swat I said..
Mech said there was no oil on the dip-stick and it wouldn't turn over.
I drove it in, so not sure what's happened between this morning & now..

Whaaa?

You took a running car in, and now they're telling you it's seized? Not trying to stir anything, but is this garage trustworthy?

I'm with Indy, that seems well dodgy to me. Go and get the car and try it for yourself.. then get a second opinion.
