My insurance for the 5G is coming up for renewal so I have been hunting for quotes and Swiftcover is ~£120 cheaper than Sky and Prestige (both insurers here on LG). They are offering me fully comp for £237.

Has anyone had any experience with Switfcover?

Not me mate, but I get mine through Chaucer Direct, they are cheap (nearly £300 cheaper than any other quote I had) and have great customer service. Do you remember my windscreen that Autoglass broke? Chaucer paid a non-insurance approved local independant contractor to replace my screen AND refunded my £70 excess to apologise for the mess around by Autoglass!

They are my current insurers. I would give Greenlight a call but after moving my track car over to them last year they make such a song and dance I cant be bothered with them.

I will more than likely renew with Sky, they are good and are very relaxed. Last year I told them about getting another 3 points and my premium still went down £50

I was with them few years ago for my ep2 had fully comp and also a seperate gap insurance policy.
I had an accident just involving my car if poor weather conditions, the car was collected by a local garage from my home address and deliviering me a curtosy car, within a few days of contacting Swiftcover. After a few days and not hearing anything I contatced them and had no news. The next day I had a phone call from the garage informing me that they were coming to collect the curtosy car from myself as my car had be a write off. I had not been contatced by swiftcover by phone call, letter or email.
I rang swiftcover and was then informed that it was a write off and an offer would be made within a week for my payout. 3 weeks later still nothing after repeated phone calss and emails sent by myself. In the end I rang my gap insurance and was informed that swiftcover were trying to ovalue my car using private sale prices when my car was purchased from a dealer.
In the end it took 2mnths from the time the car was written off until I was made a reasonable offer and would have been longer due to me agreeing to a loss of £200 between the difference Swiftcover were prepared to pay and the gap insurance offer

I think i'll need to take a look at these insurers when mine is up. I'm with Adrian Flux at the minute with me chopping and changing my cars so often but they rip you off every time. Got my Supra for less than Half the price that Adrian Flux wanted on the renewal. Then they tried to screw me with the "you don't need to do anything as we'll automatically take the £850 from your bank account" Automatic renewal crap. Like hell they will!!!!

I'll be looking at these companies when it due, thats for sure.

Sky can lick my drokking ball sack now.

They wanted £650 to insure the bmw TPFT, Wouldn't do FC based on the price I paid for the car. I can get BOTH THE BIMMER AND THE VOLVO insured for that on a multicar, both FC.

When I told them the price I could get they saud sorry, £650 was the best they could do.

They drokked up a claim and put it as a fault claim, which it wasnt, and charged me a total of £1200 last year for the lude and the volvo.

I am 35 with 5 years no claims and the bimmer is stock, give or take. Absolute joke.

I got the bimmer insured for £320 FC in the end so bollox to Sky. Lost my business due to bad pricing and no match policy worth monkeyspunk.

Swift are an absolute shower of sh1te.

They stretched my claim out for just over 18 months. They wouldn't give me a phone number to talk to them on, insisted on it being dealt with via email. Emails didn't get a reply for at least a week, and generally by someone different, as the previous person had left the company.

I wouldn't throw a soggy turd at them.
