MOT fail suspension question

Hi guys,

Well my car failed it's MOT today on a fractured nearside front coil spring, leaking petrol tank, front tyre trea below legal requirements and a head light bulb blown.

The bulb will be sorted tomorrow, getting some kuhmo's for the front fitted next week when I get paid and the tank is booked in at a specialists on Tuesday to be reconditioned.

However I'm trying to decide what to do with the suspension. Do I go for the easy solution and just get the damaged spring replaced (the offside was replaced last year by the previous owner) or do I use it as an excuse to have some lowering springs fitted?

better option is just buy good used tank, more cost effective.

as for spring its your call, if you in budget get new spring, if you have more money get new set of your own choice

I've been quoted £180 for a repair and refurb on the tank with a lifetimes garantee
