A whole day of rest !!!

Post by Dbo » Sat Jul 13, 2013 4:36 pm

After taking a week off of work and spending 4 whole days of gutting out Knightmare's BB1

My thoughts go out to Ted/Phil and Rich :P how can you do this as a job :?:
Bloody tired ;)

if i had to play engines out all day for a living i would :suicide:

all that got taken away yesterday was a bare empty rotten shell and i now have 2 whole ludes in my garage in bits

want to go back to work now for a rest

Personally I think I'd love it. Just to learn about how engines go together lol. I'm useless mechanically and wish I had half the knowledge some of the guys here have. Plus hands on work is better than a desk job any day.

Yep Kudos to 'Old Man Dbo'! Dem boy done good. ;)

Have some more Rep points mate; you deserve them & I know how you like them!

Was a bit of an epic, but everything came good in the end. 8-) Learnt a lot by pulling it all apart as well. Nice.

A few pics of the before, during, & after too for good measure..

So thanks again @Dbo for being a hero, thanks to Darren for the use of his engine hoist; it would not have been possible without your help! And good to have @Big Damo and @jonja around too for an all-round entertaining week! And good to meet you last night @wurlycorner. See you at the national meet! ;)

So yeah, got all the Gen 4 parts I need for the Gen 3 H22 manual conversion now! :P And should have all the Gen 3 bits I need by the beginning of August.

Things are starting to take shape. 4 months, & we should have a Gen 3 2.2 vtec tearing up the Tarmac! :scaredtoss:
