Help Me Choose a Phone Contract

Hi folks,

So my contract renewal is coming up in august, and it's time for a change. My last 3 phones were iPhones, however I'm selling my iPhone 4 as it's in fairly good nick so should be good for about £100 :) plus I find it laggy these days, and I will also not buy another iPhone as the IOS is getting too much like a dictatorship for my liking. In my opinion of course :)

The other reason is I pay £45 a month for unlimited web, texts and some mad amount of minutes, when my usage is bollocks all. I hate talking on the phone so never use many minutes, and I don't text a massive amount. I do MMS a bit (nothing ropey  ) so would need a plan that includes that. As for Internet, I browse at work in my spare time, but the rest of the time I'm on wifi at home.

So really, I'm after a call plan that gives me a few minutes & texts, plus mms and data. As for the handset, I'm after something free that I can use for browsing the web, Facebook and watching YouTube. As for budget, £25 and under a month would be lovely :)

I'm really out of touch with phones these days so I'm really hoping one of you can help me out here, I'm not sure what phones are good anymore

Cheers,
Josh

i have just gone for this deal. but when i was on the phone to the operator i said i wanted unlimited data, so i got that for the same price, plus with the unlimited data tariff, i found out that they have to offer unlimited mins too.

so for £27 a month, i have unlimited mins and texts any network, plus unlimited data and a free tab 2 wifi.

Sounds pretty sweet, would probably sell the tab on though lol. What's the S3 like? My only experience of the Galaxy was the original one, I wasn't sure about it back then.

Do you have any preference on network? Or phone for that matter? Screen size? Do you mind a massive screen?

What postcode area are you in?

No preferences other than I don't want something that feels cheap and nasty! As for usage, just browsing the web & viewing Facebook etc. I use my phone for taking photos too come to think of it!

Postcode area? It's worth finding out what network is best in your stomping ground! I've made that mistake a few times before.. As well as currently.

It's annoying when all your mates have full bars, and you have none! Just cos of the network you chose without investigating.

I have a Galaxy S3, its an awesome phone and I love it.

Because the S4 is now available, some places are doing the S3 on contract for around £20 a month.
