MOT failure.

The Surprise was the exhaust. Mine isn't loud compared to others and has passed at that garage with the same tester before.
The wording of the failure has me worried for those of us without our original systems,

I'd just take it somewhere else for a retest after you have sorted the brakes. Or have a chat with the tester, see if you can reason with him.

My original exhaust is already on. Just trying to find the caliper now.

A place me and my brother used to always go to started failing on exhausts louder than standard so we starting going elsewhere where they didn't mind. Its not out of order, its something alot of places are starting to do.
They are just doing a job which potentially could result in them losing there tester ticket so its quite a big risk for some to take.

I'd better check with my MOT tester BEFORE I fit my Kakimoto N1 then...although the JanSpeed I have on now is quite loud, he's always passed this for the last 10yrs.
I appears that most aftermarket "sports" exhausts (which by nature) are louder than a standard silencer, might be getting failed then....

Is it just me that finds those wanky pathetic mopeds that kids hoon about on are FAR louder/more intrusive than any car exhaust, anyway? Those Fuckers can be heard coming a mile off, reverberate off EVERYTHING and because they're so slow and take so long to get past, you can hear them FOREVER.
Fuckers. Sort out those kebabs before getting too hot on the odd car exhaust.
