Well, I move house in 3-4 weeks, and the new place has no garage so I'm under pressure to get the car finished and there's still quite a way to go.
Anything's possible, and at the start of the week I was of the belief that it was doable.
Until I started feeling unwell on Tuesday, by Wednesday I was at the doctors, and now I've just gotten back from an overnight stay in the hospital.
Seems I have contracted a nasty virus that has given me severe conjunctivitis AND severe tonsillitis, as well as a few other nasty symptoms.
If these things are meant to test us, then I'm sick of exams.
That is all, rant over.

That sucks, hope you get better soon. Is there anywhere local you can store the car if its not finished in time?

That's gutting man! At least it's diagnosed and is being treated now?
Hope you still manage to get things sorted in time though - you seem to be so close now

Sadly no, as they have no clue what the virus is, they're just hoping my immune system beats it with a little help from some penicillin.
I'm on the Google now to try and find some storage.
Thanks.

Rubbish
Sorry dude. The illness sounds not fun in the first place and I know it's also extra frustrating when it stops you getting on with things you want to do up against a deadline - I'm sat here looking at the new brakes I bought for the UKDM too, unable to fit them 'cause of my back going last Sunday (I was doing that well known strenuous activity called getting up off the ground

) and ended up unable to leave the house for 3 days and popping as much ibuprofen and paracetemol as allowed. Mobile again now, but can't risk it again this weekend, so MOT cancelled and UKDM remains firmly on the drive

Doesn't life always find a way of biting you in the arse when you least expect it. Hope you can get it sorted mate (and your car )
From someone with more bites in the arse than I can mention

Bad luck bud, hope it clears up quick and you either work miracles on the lude or get some storage sorted out.
