Whoop! MOT pass!

My car has once again passed its MOT

although this is the first time in my 3.5 years ownership where ive had to spend a few quid before the test. Had to fit a 2nd hand caliper, seatbelt, rear discs and pads and just ordered a pair of bearings/hubs for the rear as at least one side is groaning. Other than a handbrake adjustment I have one advisory - front discs and pads on their way out. Are Mintex Pads/Discs a good option? I dont track the car so upgrades are not needed

Congratulations mate. I have got my MOT on Thursday, and am a bit worried she will fail...ie 4ws light on, and exhaust doesn't sound right [as if the welding has gone, but can not see any sign off this while looking beneath the lude.]
Goodwork Lovedoctor! Hope you enjoy many more years of your lude, there so worth it imho.

Cheers guys. Enjoyed working on the car over the past few weeks. Makes it all worth while when it passes. I will get the garage to fit the bearings but looking forward to fitting the front discs/pads myself

Congrats, mate.
Had mine done today - Pass, no advisories - through PerformanceTek. Apparently the examiner complimented her condition

I reckon any pass is a pass though myself!
Good luck with the brakes

A warning light is a fail. Bulb out however means no warning light and that is not a fail.
Tramroad teds top tip today

PerformanceTek? Gerry still running that place? A guy who knows his Hondas and has built some interesting cars! K20 Jazz
I used to get my Civics done there - didnt realise they did MOT's. Great guy.
Good to see the Honda reliability keeps going even tho the cars are 13+ years old
