So if no one has seen this stuff it advertises to totally repel water and pretty much anything you could throw at it.

official review

Looks great but people are now using the stuff and finding it is not nearly as good as they say (suprise suprise   )

realworld usage test

It looks like a great way to save those fargile solder joints that might get splashed once a decade under a shroud but it seems a little weak.

it is now available on ebay

egay

But what would you do with it? kinda like sugaru, great but maybe not there as a product yet?

Thoughts on these new materials products? what would you do with it?

I would put it on my feet. I can't even begin to describe how annoying it is when you quickly nip outside and step in something wet.

 I don't think you understand the product, either that or I didn't finish my sentence properly :P

In all seriousness though, I have several pairs of suede shoes (because 1. it's 2013 and why doesn't everyone wear suede, and 2. #swag) and water does tend to do have an effect on them.

Exactly, if I put it on my feet then my feet wouldn't get wet even if I stood in something wet.

Then I said I would put it on my shoes.

What's not to understand?! :x

What is it like toxicity wise? Could be well implemented on work tops and chopping boards, providing they improve durability.
