:D
In case the majority of you dont know my Type S engine blew.

Well anyway i have a secret polish lover who goes by the name username Cebul and im now having his engine in exchange for monies.

Anyway today at 7.40am i leave Chavvy Leicester to head off to Redditch which is where Brummies live.

-13degrees :o :o :o :o and bold tyres on the van.

Not a good start to removing an engine.

Arrived at 9.20 -5degree.

I bough an engine crane. It was easier and we started on making that. Removing the engine was a doddle thanks to Cebul. :ugeek: Sexy beast picture.

The Type S is trickier to remove the engine due to the suspension having 2 lower ball joints. Make the job a bit harder. Exhaust was the hardest part. The driveshafts just slid out. Also pulling an engine out of sheet ice isnt fun.

Stock suspension height without an engine. Haha.

Took 6 hours to remove the engine after we built the crane up. And ran out of day light.

Not quite finished. Iv got to go back and seperate the gearbox and ATTS unit and im taking the engine.
WIll worry about fitting the engine when i have funds to buy timing belt/servicing parts.

But progress FINALLY. 8-)
