Thanks Toadster.

Funny you say that. It was one of the reasons why I bought the hardtop. It looks so good with it on.
I've lost my storage for it (my brothers shed) he now needs it. So I can't take it off now even if I wanted too. lol. I dont mind though. Looks awesome and provides extra security for the car especially being in London. I am not really a convertible person, but I did enjoy it for a year as a soft top before the hardtop purchase.

Thanks wurlycorner
Unfortunately the car needs respray, seems like some vandalism on the boot and bonnet and various light scratches all along the passenger side and its rear quarter.
Could may well be a very poor previous paint job maybe.
Camera can hide alot of the defects but it does polish up ok.
Been bumped and scraped a few times in our residents car park. Suppose you cant avoid that kind of thing. So annoying though, sometimes i think to myself why do I even bother trying to keep it mint. lol.
Quite sad :( but at least it lives up to honda reliability. 8) :D

Bringing back an old favorite. Near a year this thread has gone by. Is Donald still here?

Today I cleaned up all the 2nd hand parts I have for individual sale because no one wants to buy a job lot...
Tomorrow I will put them up for sale. I wish I still had a lude rather than a stack of parts though....
6th gen Prelude please Mr Honda. RWD 2.4 turbo lude.

Time to bring the thread back to life!

not much done today , general maintenance in prep for bedford track day at the end of next month.

change engine oil
new Oil filter
change Gearbox oil
new Rotor cap/seal
new rotor arm
new sparkplugs
new air filter

Just waiting for the last few seals before doing:

cambelt/balance belt
both idlers and damper
all oil seals on that side
valve clearances and new cam cover seals
hard brake lines and new clips and new washers
rebuild master cylinder with new seals/pistons from japan (not overnight lol)
pbs pads
pressure bleed

Probably won't get around to fitting AEM wideband controller or the neptune p72 ecu combo (still soldering! fitting the neptune to the JDM ecu is a pain).

At first glance, I thought they were some sort of ultra-catwalk shoes ...

Got all my track day prep finished today after a few days of the car being out of action. Bedford trackday is on Thursday, so i've got all tomorrow for last minute checks and 1 more bleed through with rbf 600 fluid.

downpipe replaced (flexi had started blowing last week)
new exhaust rubbers and a couple of straps over the cat heatshield as it started vibrating (probably after some heavy handed refitting)
piper cross panel air filter fitted
new PBS track pads front and back
fitted MTEC braided brake lines front and back, new sealing washers and clips.
rebuilt and fitted spare master cylinder with new seals.
fitted new tyres Michelin pilot sport cup 2 in 215/45/17 (to replace some 40 profile tyres).

Brakes feel epic, the pedal is very firm (hooray, at last!), the pads are very hard, and the braking is almost too much. Gonna take a bit of practice to get used to the totally epic braking force. Bit noisy with the slotted rotors, but makes sense if the pads are harder. New tyres are softer, more sidewall, much more grip on initial feel and my car is driveable once more.

It never seems much work, but a fair few hours over the last 4 days to get it all done, lack of driveway space and ground clearance makes life harder than it needs to be.
